Learn To Row

Learn to row at TwRC

Twickenham Rowing Club is well known for developing talent from our annual learn to row courses. We were selected as the GB start centre for London in recognition of this; the aim of that programme being to develop athletes completely from new to the sport into GB senior international team and those graduates won 5 gold medals in London 2012.

Our club course runs in parallel but suits those looking for a challenge but always allowing for flexibility around a busy working life. It is fast-paced (6 weeks, twice a week) so that you can get through basic training and graduate to start competing in the novice racing calendar as soon as possible. We charge £150 but we offer a discounted membership rate when you join the club after graduating.

The vast majority of the club learnt to row here. If you are fit and have a sporting background but are looking for a new challenge, rowing could be for you! If you are interested, get in contact now by filling out the following form: https://paysubsonline.com/thirdpartyregistration.aspx…

Participants need to be over 18 years of age. We will then be in contact about the next learn to row course. The courses operate with two regular sessions per week, one on a week-day evening and another on a weekend morning during the spring and summer months when the evenings are longer and water conditions at their best.
