General InfoWe are a dry hire venue at Twickenham Rowing Club. You will be required make your own bookings for furniture hire, catering (please see our recommended suppliers list) and entertainment. We provide a well-priced/stocked bar, bar staff and co-ordination. We offer our space, up to 18 trestle tables, 40 formal chairs and a fully stocked bar with bar staff. Setting up furniture/clearing up is part of the clients’ responsibility. Decorations are welcome if taken down at the end of the event. Smoking or naked flames are not permitted on the premises under any circumstances due to our strict insurance protocols.

Is the Club open at all times?The Club is open to non-members only by appointment by emailing info@twickenhamrc.co.uk

What time is the club available until?The Club closes at 12 midnight Thursday to Saturday, with bar service finishing at 11pm. On Sunday through Wednesday we close at 11pm and finish service at 10:30pm

What are the maximum numbers?Our Club Room can accommodate 90 guests standing, or 78 guests seated at long tables. For larger groups of up to 140 (or 120 seated) we can open up the adjoining room and provide use of the full events suite.

How does pricing work?Our prices* start at £125.00 per hour for the Club Room, or £175.00 per hour for the full suite. Saturdays between the beginning of May and the end of September are sold as a full day venue buy-out. All quoted prices are subject to VAT at the standard rate of20%.

Can I decorate the venue?Our rooms are not a blank canvas, and your guests will be surrounded by the achievements of our last 160 years. However you are more than welcome to personalise the room to your liking and add your own event into our history. Balloons, bunting, table decorations and flowers are all welcome. Can I bring a DJ?Here on Eel Pie Island, we are proud of our musical heritage, and we think your party should be just as much fun! You are welcome to bring a DJ or a live band to support your event. Live music must end at 10pm, with recorded music finishing at 11pm. We also have a built-in sound system that you can plug a phone into the play music between sets if desired.

Do you provide catering?We are a dry hire venue, so we provide the space, the drinks and the bar staff - everything else is yours to play with and customise to your particular event. We do have a list of recommended suppliers however, so if you would be interested in seeing who we have worked with in the past, speak to one of our team and ask for the Suppliers List.

What type of events can you host?We love to celebrate with you, whatever the occasion! If you have reason to party, we're here to help make it happen. Unfortunately our venue is not suitable for children's birthday parties, 18th's, 21st's or school proms.
