Fantastic win for Emily at Scullers Head

After the cancellation of this event last year it was great to see 402 single scullers make their way to the start line at the University Stone in Mortlake and battle their way downstream to the finish line at Putney Pier.

Pitched as one of the biggest and toughest sculling races in the world thirteen competitors from Twickenham took on the gruelling 6.8km course with Emily Granacher recording a superb win in the Novice Women's category. Kosta Kolimechkov placed 2nd in the men's Mas B 1x (a very credible 29th overall). Well done to all those who took part.
