Twickenham Return to Temple sur Lot for Training Camp

Twickenham Rowing Club's Gallic love affair continued into a third year as both the men and women's senior squads travelled again to South West France for their annual training camp.

The La Base training facility in Temple sur Lot provided a welcome respite to the dreaded 'red boards' that have affected so many clubs this season. Taking advantage of near perfect rowing conditions of sunshine, flat water and nearly 30km of uninterrupted river coaches Johnny Searle, Luke Nolan and Sheyi Blackett led the charge with three gruelling training outings a day.

Despite the sore limbs and blisters both squads worked extremely hard, both mentally and physically, as they prepared for the regatta season and Henley qualifiers in a few months time. Well done to all those involved.
