Twickenham Master's Women 8+ Earn the Win at Kingston Head

Master's Women also finish 6th in the W MasC/D 4x- category


Twickenham’s Masters Women’s squad delivered a statement performance at the Kingston Head on 21st March 2026. The crew showcased the work they've been putting in over the winter months to secure a definitive victory in the W Mas C/D/E 8+ category.


Racing in Paul McCarter, crew number 276 finished first of the five crews entered in the category, competing with two entries from Kingston Rowing Club and one from each of Walton Rowing Club and Bewl Bridge Rowing Club, and finished 74th overall out of 189 entries.


Against the competitive category, the line up of Abi Bray (Stroke), Kathy Billings, Vicki Clark, Faith Forster, Rosie Creer, Nicki Lyon, Janet Holt, and Gilly O’Beirne (Bow), with Andy Dobson coxing clocked an impressive raw time of 19:12, adjusted to 18:44.7. The adjusted time was 18.5 seconds faster than Kingston's second place boat.

From the women's 8+ boat, three rowers - Kathy Billings, Vicki Clark, Faith Forster - were joined by Natalia Lokhova as they raced in the W MasC/D 4x- category finishing 6th in the category with an adjusted time of 20:55.7. The crew's unadjusted time of 21:24.7 would have finished 5th in category.
