It was a busy and successful Saturday for Twickenham’s Masters squads at the Marlow Spring Regatta, with 11 crews taking to the water across various categories. Despite some heavy weather late in the day, the club came away with five wins and several hard-fought second-place finishes.

We invite returning and new clubs to experience the joys of rowing along the Surrey bank of the River Thames while providing high quality competition. Please see below for competition details. Twickenham Rowing Club (TwRC) is immensely proud to announce that two of its most accomplished members, Callum Dixon and Benjamin Pritchard, have been named Olympic Male Athlete of the Year and Paralympic Athlete of the Year respectively, by their respective organisations.

Twickenham Rowing Club (TwRC) is excited to announce the return of the Twickenham Regatta on Saturday 23rd May 2026. The regatta course, once again located on the lush Surrey bank of the River Thames immediately east of Eel Pie Island in Twickenham, provides idyllic conditions for competitors and spectators alike as boats race from the River Lane Boating Area toward Eel Pie Island and the finish line at Ham Street Car Park.

What better way to take advantage of Twickenham and Southwest London's best seasons than by getting on the water and learning to row?

Twickenham Regatta this year was a great success with approximately 50% more races than the year before, with over 22 clubs making their way to the Twickenham stretch for nearly 9 hours of racing beneath the beautiful backdrop of Richmond Hill.
